STCW 95 Proficiency in Medical First Aid On Board Ship

Course Outline
This training is the second of three medical courses recommended for those on board commercial vessels. As the title suggests Proficiency in Medical First Aid on Board Ship has an emphasis on the provision of medical first aid onboard a ship.

Content & Objectives
The course aims to develop the competence required to be able to apply immediate first aid in the event of an accident or illness on board.

The course is a combination of theory and practical sessions held at the Red Ensign training facility in Cowes.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal requirements for this course however you should be over 18 years of age.
