The aim of the course is to teach students to use small boat Radar to assist decision-making in navigation, pilotage and collision avoidance.

The course will cover the following:

  • Set up
  • Refining the picture
  • Understanding the picture
  • Radar reflectors
  • Fixing positions by radar
  • Pilotage by radar
  • Collision avoidance

The course will be held over one day at our headquarters in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

There are no pre-requisites for this course
