After many years at sea I now enjoy teaching others, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and respect to be safe at sea.

Monica Dale
I worked in the NHS for a great number of years and having worked at sea, it is good to be able to combine my love and experience of the sea with my nursing qualifications to enable to me to instruct in all maritime first aid and medical courses.

Bill Gardner
Being an ex RNLI helmsman I have worked for 10 years in the North Sea and for 26 years in the marine industry. I thoroughly enjoy the industry and training people at all levels. Our courses combine both practical and theoretical work; we try to get students involved in all stages of the training process.

Ray Scott
It is very fulfilling to train in both the maritime commercial and leisure sector, ensuring that theory and practical issues are understood by people to make certain they're safe whilst at sea.

Safety & Maintenance

I love being in, under and on the water. To help our students appreciate what they're learing and show them how to take care at sea is a favourite part of my job.

I have many years experience working in the National Health Service as a Nurse and Midwife. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and working with the team at Red Ensign.
